Wow… first of all it was great seeing you guys.

Second, I can’t believe you’d never really been to the Tulip Festival!? And I’m jealous because I TRIED to go this year (like every year) but had to give up because of the traffic. It was insane! Over the last 3 or 4 years the attendance has skyrocketed.

And isn’t BSG crazy delicious? :-) Oh boy, wait until you see the Season 3 finale! Totally mindblowingly excellent!

Glad to hear you are enjoying moby dick so far. I read it for a book discussion group a year or so ago and enjoyed it much more than I thought. Like you said, it was much funnier than I expected. It’s a book I plan on re-reading, because I am sure I missed a ton the first time around.

Also glad to hear you are enjoying BSG, I echo the last comment on the cylons in S4, some really interesting stuff this season…makes me rather pissed off they are splitting it into 2 half-seasons.

Glad you’re enjoying S3 of BSG! I’m caught up and watching S4, and it’s AMAZING. S3 is great, though. There’s a lot of stuff I love in it - the occupation in the beginning! Leoben! I pretty much love Leoben so much. The cylon stuff gets reallllly interesting in S4.

I thought the same thing about The Machinist when I saw it–that it was so hard to look at Christian Bale. But I remember it being an interesting film.

Also I’d go with Sopranos, if you’re taking recommendations. I just got through season 3 and it’s a great show. (Sex and the City can be a bit much and I’ve never seen The Wire.)
