You should try living in the UK this summer, if you can call it that. We had a beautiful spring over April and early May only to find that this was apparently our only chance of sunshine this year. We've had the odd day here and there, but for the most part we've had a very wet and cold summer since June. It's like a bad autumn all the time without the beautiful colours to make it any better. I have been planning my winter wardrobe and essential purchases too, but I didn't expect to be wanting to buy them in mid August! My current hibernation urge (at 10am) is to curl up on my sofa with a big mug of hot chocolate, my husband and a good film. Outside is just too depressing!

Oh my stars, it is freeeezing here in Washington and I love it. Yesterday I pulled out my sweaters and bundled up with a stack of books and decaf coffee. So Alissa, I do believe we have the same hibernation urges!
